The updated OBDII Universal Harness (1005743) is designed to work across more vehicle types, which is why it no longer includes the traditional L-Bracket from older harnesses. Most vehicles will use Connector #1, which replaces the previous standard L-Bracket. Connector #2 is used for certain Ford vehicles that require a larger bracket style.
