Calamp 3030/3035 Tracker Devices

  • When the red light is on, that confirms the device has power. Once the device is powered and running, the red light will turn off.
  • When the yellow light blinks, the device is searching for a cellular signal. Once the cellular signal is found, the yellow light will turn solid. 
  • When the green light blinks, that indicates the Tracker is searching for a GPS signal. Once it acquires satellite communication, the green light will turn solid. 

Calamp 2830 Tracker Device

  • When the yellow light blinks, the device is searching for a cellular signal. Once the cellular signal is found, the yellow light will turn solid.
  • When the green light blinks, that indicates the Tracker is searching for a GPS signal. Once it acquires satellite communication, the green light will turn solid.

MC-4+ Tracker Device

  • When the red light turns solid, that confirms the device has power. When the red light slowly blinks, the internal battery is charging. If the internal battery charger is faulty, the red light will quickly blink.
  • When the yellow light slowly blinks, the device is attempting to acquire a valid GPS fix. Once a valid GPS fix is acquired, the yellow light will turn solid.
  • When the green light quickly blinks, the device is searching for a cellular signal. Once the cellular signal is found, the green light will turn solid. If either of these has an inadequate signal, the green light will blink quickly instead of turning solid.
  • When the blue light slowly blinks, the device is unpaired. Once paired and connected, the blue light will turn solid.

When installing your MC-4+ Tracker

  • When the red light turns solid, that confirms the device has power. When the red light slowly blinks, the internal battery is charging. If the internal battery charger is faulty, the red light will quickly blink.
  • When the yellow light slowly blinks, the device is attempting to acquire a valid GPS fix. Once a valid GPS fix is acquired, the yellow light will turn solid.
  • When the green light quickly blinks, the device is searching for a cellular signal. Once the cellular signal is found, the green light will turn solid. If either of these has an inadequate signal, the green light will blink quickly instead of turning solid.
  • When the blue light slowly blinks, the Vehicle Bus test begins. The blue light will quickly blink if the Vehicle Bus test fails. The blue light turns solid if the Vehicle Bus test passes.
  • Keep all lights in their current status before starting normal device operation.

MC-3 Tracker Device

  • When the red light turns solid, that confirms the device has power. 
  • When the yellow light blinks, the device is searching for a GPS signal. Once satellite communication is acquired, the yellow light will turn solid. 
  • When the green light blinks, the device is searching for a cellular signal. Once the cellular signal is found, the green light will turn solid. If either of these has an inadequate signal, the light will blink quickly instead of turning solid. 

When installing your MC-3 Tracker

  • When the red, yellow, and green lights are solid, a blue light will blink and never turn solid if no information is being pulled. It will turn solid if the information is detected. The blue light appears in only about 3 seconds.
  • The lights will then turn off, then the red, yellow, and green lights will appear again. 
  • Shortly afterward, the lights will start blinking in a pattern: blue-yellow-green, repeatedly. 
  • Allow the yellow and green lights to turn solid, then turn off the machine.
  • Restart the vehicle. The red, yellow, and green lights will illuminate and stay solid.
