Takeuchi Integration with T3

Learn how to connect your Takeuchi data with T3 to monitor and track equipment in one place.

Easily view asset data from your Takeuchi equipment in T3 with the Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) integration. With a quick setup, you can bring select telematics data from TFM-enabled machines directly into your T3 Fleet platform via the AEMP Telematics Standard (ISO 15143-3), no additional hardware required.

For more information on the capabilities of AEMP integrations in T3, check out the T3 OEM Integrations Overview article.

What You Need Before You Start

The TFM integration requires a few pre-requisites to ensure a smooth setup.

Asset & Hardware Requirements

  • Your equipment must have a Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) installed from the factory, or added later.

  • Confirm that your machines are activated and reporting to TFM. If you’re unsure, contact your Takeuchi dealer or support.

Account & Subscription Access

  • An active TFM subscription with machines assigned and sending data.

  • An active T3 subscription is required.

User Credentials & Permissions

  • Valid TFM OAuth Client Credentials. Don't have credentials?

    • Client ID

    • Client Secret

    • Token (OAuth) URL.

  • Manager or Admin-Level role within T3.

Setting Up the TFM Integration

  1. Log into T3 Fleet.

  2. Navigate to the Company page and select the Integrations tab. The Integrations homepage will display.

  3. Locate the Takeuchi integration and select Add integration.

  4. Enter the credentials you received from Takeuchi:

    1. Client ID

    2. Client Secret

    3. Token Endpoint (OAuth URL)

Note: Your credentials must be requested from Takeuchi. See How to Request Your Credentials below to learn more.

  5. Click Submit credentials. T3 will validate the credentials and begin syncing your TFM data.

  6. You will be returned to the OEM Integrations page.

  7. The integration status will be Pending while the data imports.

  8. Once the feeds for the equipment in the OEM fleet are available in T3, the status of the card will change to Connected.

  9. Once the integration has a Connected status, you can begin assigning the feeds to assets created in T3. The feeds appear in T3 as tracker devices. For more information, see Assigning a Tracker Device to An Asset in T3.

How to Request Your TFM Credentials

To enable the integration, you’ll need to request API credentials directly from Takeuchi.

What to expect:

  • Takeuchi’s technical team will provision your credentials and send them in a secured credential PDF document.

Note: The credential document from Takeuchi may include a link to their developer portal. This site is for reference only — you do not need to log in or activate anything, or set up additional steps. All you need to do is enter the credentials provided in your PDF (Client ID, Client Secret, Token URL) into T3.

  • After receiving the credentials, go to T3 → Company → Integrations → TFM, enter the values, and save to start the data sync.
