Simplifying fuel reporting through the combination of telematics data and fuel transaction data. This allows for seamless tracking and reporting of vehicle performance and fuel usage. By integrating WEX into T3, you’ll gain the ability to pull in fuel card data (gallons purchased, location, and price) into the T3 Analytics Mileage Report, providing a comprehensive view of fuel usage.
Before integrating your WEX data with T3, WEX requires that you complete a “Fleet Data Exchange Authorization and Agreement.”
How to Get Started
Download and Fill Out the Data Exchange Agreement.
Send a copy of the Data Exchange Agreement to your WEX representative.
Wait for WEX Credentials: After submitting the agreement, you will receive an email from WEX containing your credentials.
Export Your Asset List: Once you have the credentials, log in to your WEX account and export your current asset list.
If your asset names in WEX and T3 do not match, please let T3 customer support know, and we will provide you with further documentation so we can match the data properly.
Send Information to T3 Support: Email both your completed agreement and the exported asset list to t3support@equipmentshare.com.
What to Expect Next
After you send your information to T3 Support, we will begin to process your data and add it to T3. Please note that this can take a little time to get through our system.
How to Use Your WEX Integration in T3
Once your WEX integration is enabled, you can use it to view fuel usage data in T3's Analytics app. To get started, open Analytics, navigate to Fleet Usage in the left navigation area and find Mileage Report.
The Mileage Report gives you clear visibility into your vehicles’ activity across state lines and by individual asset within a selected date range. When the WEX integration is enabled, fuel transaction data automatically populates in the State Mileage Summary, including total miles driven, gallons purchased, gallons used, and total fuel cost. This data is also connected to each unit under “Assets with Fuel Purchases,” allowing you to easily match mileage with fuel activity.
You can use this report to review mileage by state or by asset to see where vehicles are operating, how far they are traveling, and how fuel purchases align with usage. The state-level breakdown supports accurate IFTA reporting by providing reliable mileage totals for each jurisdiction. In addition, the report helps you identify routing inefficiencies, monitor asset utilization, and better manage fuel expenses. By centralizing this information, the Mileage Report reduces administrative effort and helps minimize compliance risks and reporting errors.
Important: IFTA requirements may vary by jurisdiction. Customers should always refer to their appropriate state or provincial compliance authority to confirm reporting requirements and ensure all filings meet current regulations.
