Easily view asset data from your Samsara trackers in T3 with the Samsara AEMP API integration. With a quick setup, you can bring select telematics data from AEMP API-enabled machines directly into your T3 Fleet platform via the AEMP Telematics Standard (ISO 15143-3), no additional hardware required.

What You Need Before You Start
The AEMP integration requires a few pre-requisites to ensure a smooth setup.
Asset & Hardware Requirements
Your equipment must have an AEMP-enabled Samsara tracker installed.
Confirm that your trackers are activated and reporting via the AEMP API. If you’re unsure, contact Samsara support.
Note: Samsara’s AEMP API supports equipment only, not vehicles.
Account & Subscription Access
An active Full Admin or Standard Admin Samsara account with AEMP enabled and trackers assigned and sending data.
An active T3 subscription is required.
User Credentials & Permissions
Valid API Key. Don't have an API Key?
Manager or Admin-Level role within T3.
Setting Up the AEMP Integration
Log into T3 Fleet.
Navigate to the Company page and select the Integrations tab. The Integrations homepage will display.
Locate the Samsara integration and select Add integration.
Enter the credentials you received from Samsara:

Note: Your API Key must be obtained from Samsara. See How to Obtain Your API Key to learn more.
Click Submit credentials. T3 will validate the credentials and begin syncing your AEMP API data.
You will be returned to the OEM Integrations page.
The integration status will be Pending while the data imports.
Once the feeds for the equipment in the OEM fleet are available in T3, the status of the card will change to Connected.
Once the integration has a Connected status, you can begin assigning the feeds to assets created in T3. The feeds appear in T3 as tracker devices. For more information, see Assigning a Tracker Device to An Asset in T3.
