If you are pulled over as an ELD-compliant driver, you will be asked to show your Driver's Daily Logs for the last seven days from today and going back. Use one of the three methods in the E-Logs mobile app to show or send your logs.
Method 1: Displaying Driver's Daily Logs from the E-Logs Mobile App
Open the E-Logs mobile app.
Across the bottom menu, select Inspections.
Select Inspect Logs and Recap, and it will show the last eight days of recorded logs from your ELD.
A sheet of your Driver's Daily Log will display for you to show the officer.
Method 2: Emailing Driver's Daily Logs from the E-Logs Mobile App
Open the E-Logs mobile app.
Across the bottom, select Inspections.
Select Send Logs and Recap option.
From the Send Logs and Recap screen, tap Add to enter an email address and then Send.
Once sent, a message will display confirming the action.
The recipient will receive your records in a PDF format in their inbox.
Method 3: Electronically Delivering Driver's Daily Logs to FMCSA from the E-Logs Mobile App
Open the E-Logs mobile app.
Across the bottom, select Inspections.
Select Send ELD Output File option.
Ask the officer for the reference or label number for your RODs and enter the number in the Comment field.
Click Send.
A message will display in the app confirming the status of successful delivery to the FMCSA ELD web services.
If an error occurs, you will receive an ELD Output file submission rejection message. Take a screenshot of the message and contact T3 support from the side menu in E-Logs mobile app under Help.
