Completing a Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) is a daily requirement for drivers who have driven for the day. This is also a way for drivers to provide information about repairs or maintenance that is required for their vehicle or trailer. It can be done from the E-Logs mobile app with a few clicks to make sure you stay safe on the road!
If a defect is detected during a DVIR, the T3 system can automatically create a Work Order (WO) for your service department to review. There's a setup step required to make sure this feature is activated.
As a Manager or Owner-level role, log into T3.
Select Company in the left menu.
Select the Account tab.
Scroll to the Service / E-Logs Integration section and check the box for Auto-Create Work Orders from DVIR Defects.
Select Save Company once you are done.
Anytime a DVIR defect is created in the E-Logs mobile app, a WO is created.
