DriveShield™, powered by FTS, is the T3 Dash Cam mobile experience. It allows drivers to understand, monitor, and improve their driving behavior. Drivers can view behavior, review events, and dispute events that need more context.

Download and Login

  • Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Enter DriveShield into the search bar.

  • Install the app.

  • Open the DriveShield™ app and enter the provided credentials.

  • Select Log In.

Dashboard

The DriveShield™ Dashboard provides drivers with the following information:

  • Daily Score

  • Categories of Behavior

  • All Generated Events for the Day

Daily Score:

Drivers begin the day with a perfect score of 100. Each triggered event type deducts points from the Daily Score, resulting in the driver’s final score at the end of the day. This is calculated as 100 minus the total points deducted for each triggered driver behavior event.

Categories of Behavior:

The Daily Score is determined by the cumulative scores from each behavior category. The dashboard displays the number of triggered events within each category.

Triggered Events:

Newly generated events are listed under their respective categories of behavior. To view full details of a Driver Behavior Event, simply tap the arrow (>) next to it. Event severity and scorecard settings are determined by fleet managers.

Daily Score Dashboard – More Details:

Click the More Details button to:

  • View the score for the selected date.

    • To see the Daily Score of a different date, click the Calendar field.

  • Access a list of triggered driver behavior events by type.

Events Breakdown

The Events Breakdown section provides a detailed list of behavior categories and the associated event types. Driver behavior events will be displayed under their categories, offering a comprehensive view of performance.

Events:

The Events screen displays all triggered driver behavior events. You can slide the headers to the left to access the following categories:

  • All Events: A comprehensive history of all triggered driving events.

  • New: All newly triggered driver behavior events.

  • Pending Coaching: Events that require coaching for drivers.

  • Disputed: Events that are currently being disputed by the manager.

  • Coached: Events that have been acknowledged and coached by the driver. Coaches can change the event status to “coached” via IntelliHub.

  • Dismissed: Events that have been dismissed by a manager or coach.

Event Details:

The Event Details screen displays the following information:

  • Type of Driving Behavior Event

  • Event Coaching Status

  • Date

  • Effect on Score

  • Vehicle

  • Location

  • Video of the Event*

  • Options to Dispute or Acknowledge

Acknowledging or Disputing an Event:

Drivers must either acknowledge or dispute a triggered Driver Behavior Event to achieve Coached status.

  • Selecting ACKNOWLEDGE updates the status to Coached.

  • Selecting DISPUTE directs drivers to the event discussion screen, where they can dispute and explain the event.

Profile

The Profile screen provides insights into a driver’s Emerging Patterns and Score Over Time.

Emerging Patterns:

The Emerging Patterns section compares the number of generated driver behavior events across two dates. Quick selection buttons enable immediate comparisons between:

  • Recent 7 days vs. Previous 30 days

  • Recent 7 days vs. Previous 90 days

  • Recent 30 days vs. Previous 365 days

Score Over Time:

You can track the driver’s score progression over time in the Score Over Time section. Click the Calendar field to modify the date range for analysis. Quick selection buttons facilitate easy comparisons, allowing you to choose from:

  • Past 7 days

  • Past 30 days

  • Past 90 days

  • Past 365 days

Notifications

Drivers can use the Discussion section to explain their reasons for disputing an event. To access the discussion thread for a specific event, drivers must visit that event's detail screen.

The DriveShield™ app notifies drivers of new messages, ensuring they stay informed. All received messages can be found in the Notification section of the app.

To view messages, click on the Notification tab. Selecting a message will open the corresponding event's discussion thread for further review.
