Learn how to view site camera footage in T3 Site Monitoring.

Open an individual camera to watch its live feed, review recorded footage and events, or create a clip.

Note: Site Monitoring is available to T3 Site Camera customers. For more information or help accessing these features, contact T3 Support at t3support@equipmentshare.com.

Open a camera

  1. In T3 Fleet, select Site Monitoring.

  2. Select the site you want to monitor.

  3. From the Monitor tab, select a camera card.

The individual camera page includes the live feed, playback controls, an event timeline, and the camera’s Events and Album tabs.

Watch the live feed

The camera opens in live mode. Use the camera controls to adjust the view or expand the feed to full screen.

Create and manage camera zones

Camera zones let you monitor or ignore activity within a specific area of the camera’s view.

To create a zone:

  1. Open the camera.

  2. Select Zones, then select Add.

  3. Draw the zone over the area you want to monitor or exclude.

  4. Select Done.

  5. Enter a name for the zone.

  6. Choose a zone type:

    • Detection: Monitors activity within the zone.

    • Exclusion: Ignores activity within the zone.

  7. For a detection zone, choose whether to detect people, vehicles, or both.

  8. Choose whether the zone should follow the site’s arming schedule or use a custom schedule.

  9. Configure the notification method and recipients.

  10. Select Save Zone.

To view existing zones, turn on Zones from the camera controls. Select a zone to update its settings or delete it.

Review recorded footage

  1. Select the date and time displayed beneath the camera feed.

  2. Choose the date and time you want to review and select Jump, or drag the playhead along the timeline.

  3. Use the playback controls to play, pause, or move through the footage.

Moving the playhead away from the current time changes the camera from live mode to playback mode. To return to the live feed, select LIVE or move the playhead back to the current time.

The timeline identifies when person, vehicle, and motion events occurred to help locate relevant footage.

Review camera events

The Events tab displays events detected by the selected camera. Use the available filters to narrow the list by event type, date, saved status, or alert status.

Select an event to move the camera playback to that point in time.

An event can be saved by selecting Save to album.

Create a clip

  1. Move the playhead to the point where the clip should begin.

  2. Select Create Clip.

  3. Enter a name and description.

  4. Select the clip duration.

  5. Create the clip.

Saved clips appear in the camera’s Album tab and in the site’s main Album tab.

View the camera album

Select Album to view footage associated with the camera, including:

  • Saved events

  • Recorded clips

  • Automatically generated weekly time-lapses

The camera album is a filtered view of the site’s main Album. Footage saved from the camera page or the site’s Events tab is available from both locations.
