Monitoring a Site and Creating Custom Camera Views in T3 Site Monitoring

Learn how to monitor a site and create custom views from T3 Site Monitoring.

The Monitor tab in the T3 Site Monitoring page provides access to the live cameras at a site. Cameras can be viewed individually, by trailer, or as part of a custom view.

Note: Site Monitoring is available to T3 Site Camera customers. For more information or help accessing these features, contact T3 Support at t3support@equipmentshare.com.

Open a site’s Monitor tab

  1. In T3 Fleet, select Site Monitoring.

  2. Select the site you want to monitor.

  3. Select the Monitor section.

Choose how cameras are displayed

Cameras can be viewed by:

  • Camera: View every camera individually.

  • Trailer: View cameras grouped by trailer.

  • Custom view: View a selected group of cameras together.

Create a custom view

Custom views can be used to monitor related cameras together, such as every camera positioned along a site’s perimeter.

To get started, select View By: Custom Views option > Create Your First View to create a custom view.

  1. Drag the cameras you want to monitor into the view.

  2. Enter a name for the view.

  3. Adjust the layout and camera sizes as needed.

  4. Select Save View to save your changes.

Saved custom views appear on the Monitor tab and can be opened in full-screen mode.

Edit or delete a custom view

Custom views are currently available only to the person who creates them and are not shared across the organization (yet!).

To edit or delete a custom view, select the three-dot menu on the custom view card, then select Edit or Delete.

View a camera

Select a camera to open its live feed. From the camera viewer, the feed can be expanded to full screen or changed from live viewing to playback.

Check whether a site is armed

The site’s current armed status appears on the Monitor tab along the top.

When a site is armed, triggered alerts are sent to the monitoring team for review. The monitoring team evaluates the activity and determines whether additional action is needed.

Set an arming schedule

  1. Select Set Arming Schedule.

  2. Add a schedule in the site settings.

  3. Choose when the site should automatically arm and disarm.

  4. Save the schedule.

A site can still be manually disarmed when an arming schedule is active.
