The Events tab displays activity detected across every camera at a site. Events can be filtered, reviewed, tagged, assigned, saved, or downloaded.
Note: Site Monitoring is available to T3 Site Camera customers. For more information or help accessing these features, contact T3 Support at t3support@equipmentshare.com.
Open the Events tab
In T3 Fleet, select Site Monitoring.
Select the site you want to review.
Select Events.
Unlike the event list on an individual camera page, the site’s Events tab includes activity from every camera at the site.
Filter events
Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow the event list. Events can be filtered by options such as:
Event type
Camera
Date
Saved status
Alert status
Tags
Multiple filters can be used together to locate specific activity.
Watch an event
Select an event from the list to open the recorded footage.
Use the playback controls beneath the video to play, pause, or move through the clip.
Review the playback bar to identify when the event occurred.
Each recording includes approximately 10 seconds of footage before and after the detected activity. The orange section of the playback bar identifies when the event itself was detected.
If the activity may still be happening, select the small camera preview marked LIVE in the lower-right corner of the video to open the camera’s current feed.
Tag an event
The event type identifies what the camera’s detection system recognized, such as a person, vehicle, or motion event. Tags can be added to provide more context, correct an inaccurate classification, or make the event easier to find later.
Open the event.
Select the option to add a tag.
Choose or enter the appropriate tag.
Save or download an event
Use Save to album to add an event clip to the site’s Album tab.
Download the clip when a copy needs to be shared outside T3, such as for an incident review or insurance claim.
Assign an event
Events can be assigned to another user for follow-up. Open the event and use the assignment control to select the appropriate person. The assigned person will receive an email notification.
Understand alert events
An alert event occurs when activity is detected within a configured zone while the site is armed. These alerts are sent to the monitoring team for review.
The monitoring team evaluates the activity and determines whether additional action is needed. Use the alert filter to view only events that generated an alert.
