Editing an Employee's Existing Time Entry

Instructions for administrators in editing their employee's existing time entries in T3's Time Cards web app.

Administrators can adjust their employee's hours as recorded from the Link mobile app. Only administrators will have access to edit their employee's time in T3's Time Cards web app, but employees can adjust their own time using the Link mobile app.

  • Use the filters at the top and adjust to the pay period as necessary and then locate the employee in the list by using the search bar or scrolling through the table.

  • Select the name of the person to view their timesheet for the filtered pay period.

  • Locate the day for editing.

  • Find the time entry for revising and click Edit from the employee's timesheet.

  • The Edit time entry drawer will display.

    • Make revisions such as adjusting the Start or End times or updating the Entry Type, Branch, WO, Job, Work Code, or Asset.

  • Select Save once the revisions have been entered.

  • The employee's timesheet will display the edited entry as a Revised entry.

  • An additional time entry will display for any remaining recorded time from the original entry.

    • For example, if the employee's original time entry was a shift of 13 total hours (5 AM to 6 PM) and the entry was edited to end at 4 PM rather than 6 PM, the hours in the new revised entry are now 11 hours. An additional time entry will display for the 2 recorded hours from the original entry in the daily timesheet.

    • To assign the separate time entry towards a task or off time, select Edit and make the revisions.
