Adding an Asset to the Link Mobile App

Instructions on adding a vehicle, piece of equipment, or other assets to the Link mobile app for monitoring and tracking visibility.

Managing and tracking all your assets using the T3 platform (web app and Link mobile app) ensures you can make informed decisions throughout your day. Adding an asset in the Link mobile app means it will also be displayed throughout the T3 system.

Adding Equipment, Trailer, Attachment, Bucket, or Small Tool

  • From the Link mobile app, select Assets from the main menu.

  • Select the Add Asset button.

  • Complete the add asset screens in 3 easy steps!

    1. Indicate what type of asset you are adding to the system by selecting the Next button next to Equipment, Trailer, Attachment, Bucket, or Small tool.

    2. Give the asset a name (required). Select Next.

    3. Optionally enter additional details for the asset by selecting Add Details or selecting the Save button to add it to the Link mobile app.

Adding a Vehicle using VIN Scanner

  • From the Link mobile app, select Assets from the main menu.

  • Select the Add Asset button.

  • Select Vehicle and then give the vehicle a name.

  • Select the VIN field to open your device's camera.

  • Point your device towards the VIN or barcode to scan it.

  • Once detected, it will populate the Make, Model, and Year of the vehicle.

  • Select Save to add the asset.
