The Slap-N-Track is a versatile tracker designed for assets in any environment. Once installed, the tracker's unique number is automatically preloaded into your T3 account and populated in the asset name fields. You will then need to update the asset name field in T3 to a custom, unique name of your choice.

Having a picture of the tracker label is helpful, as you'll need the IMEI number to search for and rename the asset.

  • From the Map view, search for the Slap-N-Track asset's IMEI number.

  • Select the asset to expand the asset card.

  • Select Details.

  • Select Edit.

  • Once on the Edit page, find the Custom ID field, delete the IMEI #, and update the field to the unique asset name.

  • Edit other asset information as necessary (Make, Model, Serial Number, etc.) Once this is completed, scroll to the bottom and select Save asset.

  • Search for the IMEI number and select the asset.

    • Note: Ensure your branch is selected.

  • Select Additional Details and then Edit.

  • Under Asset Name, remove the IMEI name and provide a new, unique name.

  • Select Save.

If you need help assigning the Slap-N-Track device in T3, use the included card to capture the asset's information and email the required photos to tracker@equipmentshare.com. You will receive an email to confirm that the tracker was assigned to the machine.
