Why Use SD Cards?
Storage of longer clips than can be easily requested through the web interface.
Inability to connect to the camera remotely. This could be due to the asset being in an accident, an area without cell service, or a damaged camera.

Disclaimers
Please note that this process requires an SD card reader. If this feature is not available on existing systems, one can be purchased online or at a local office supply store. External SD card readers will need to be connected to the hard drive on your computer using an HDD adapter.
If an asset is in a low cellular/GPS coverage area, the T3 Dash Cam will sometimes be unavailable for downloading historical footage. (Windows only)
Retrieving the SD card(s)
Start by opening the hatch on the bottom of the T3 Dash cam using a T6 torx screwdriver (provided with camera installation kit).
Once the door has been opened, gently press the SD card(s) in to release it.
Slot TF1 houses the high-definition SD card, which has a higher storage capacity. Slot TF2 records footage in standard definition.
Downloading the software
To download the software, open the T3 Camera page in the Fleet web app. Some users must select Settings to access the reader, while others can select the offline reader directly from the T3 Camera page.
A dialog box will appear prompting you to download the software, select ‘Save’. Next, locate the saved file and install the software on your device.

After the download is complete, follow the prompts to install and set up the software.
Select next when prompted in the dialog box below.
Next, you will be prompted to select an installation location on your computer. Select Browse to choose a location for the download or leave the default location already selected. Select Next.
Click Next again to confirm installation.
After these steps are complete, a dialog box will appear stating that the installation is complete. Select Close.
How to Use FleetCam
Setting Preferences in the Software
Once the software has been downloaded, launch the application by selecting the shortcut or by accessing the program from the start menu.
The first time the reader program is accessed, it requests a set time zone.
After setting the time zone, click Select Disk to point the software to the SD card reader. After highlighting the desired folder, click Select Folder.
Users with external SD card readers will select USB Drive (D:), while users with built-in SD card readers will select ‘SDXC (D:)’.
Once this process is complete, the date of the event needs to be selected, as well as the channel.
Channel 1 provides a road view; Channel 2 displays driver-facing footage.
Dates with available footage will be in black, dates that are grayed out do not have available footage. If you feel this is in error, please contact support at T3support@equipmentshare.com.
Next, select the event time. The videos are sorted by the timezone you selected in software set up:
Video Controls
The buttons below the video progress bar can be used for various actions.
*Use the pin (thumb tack) button to save specific timestamps in a clip for viewing and exporting as needed.
The rewind button will trigger the playback to jump back 10 seconds.
Play/Pause starts and pauses playback.
Fast Forward will skip forward 10 seconds.
The Video Progress Bar shows the length of the clip and where you are in the timeline.
Once the desired footage is selected, the footage will display with the notations shown below. Please remember that the time displayed at the top of the footage will be in Coordinated Universal Time instead of the local time zone.
Saving Pinned Footage
Pinning footage prompts the video to be named and saved. Once named and saved, the pin will be displayed in the ‘Saved Pins’ section on the right.
Please note that these pins will only be available in the current session. If the software is closed and reopened, the pins will no longer be available.
Exporting Video
Once the pins are saved, they can be exported and saved to a device.
To do this, locate the saved pins on the right, and select ‘Export’ on the right of the Video Progress Bar.
Next, select Channel 1 for the road view and Channel 2 for driver-facing footage. Verify the date and time. Select ‘Export’ in this box to export the video.
Videos are exported in 10-minute segments and saved to the selected drive.
