Using the Fleet Safety Report in T3

Learn how to use the fleet safety report to monitor driving events and understand trends across your fleet.

The Fleet Safety Report provides a high-level summary of driver safety events across your fleet for a selected time period. Use this report to identify trends, compare event volume across branches and drivers, and understand which safety event categories occur most often.

Note: The Fleet Safety Report is available to T3 Dash Cam customers.

Common use cases

Use the Fleet Safety Report to:

  • Identify high-risk areas by seeing which branches, drivers, or event types have the highest number of recorded safety events.

  • Monitor fleet-wide safety trends by adjusting the date range and comparing event activity over time.

  • Prioritize coaching opportunities by identifying drivers or locations with frequent safety events.

  • Understand event distribution by reviewing which safety event groups occur most often across the fleet.

  • Export data for additional analysis or to share safety metrics with managers and stakeholders.

Access the Fleet Safety Report

  1. Navigate to Driver Safety.

  2. Select the Reports tab.

  3. If needed, click Select report and choose Fleet Safety Report.

Filter the report

Use the filters at the top of the page to customize the report.

Filter

Description

Date Range

Select the time period to include in the report.

Event Type

Filter results to one or more safety event types.

Branch

View data for specific branches.

Asset Group

Limit results to selected asset groups.

The report updates automatically as filters are applied.

Report overview

Fewest Recorded Events

Displays the branch, driver, and event type with the lowest number of recorded events for the selected filters.

Use this section to identify branches, drivers, or event types with minimal recorded safety activity.

Most Recorded Events

Displays the branch, driver, and event type with the highest number of recorded events for the selected filters.

Use this section to identify areas that may require additional review, coaching, or safety initiatives.

Fleet Summary

The summary row provides key fleet metrics for the selected filters, including:

  • Unassigned events

  • Total events

  • Named drivers

  • Assets

  • Branches

  • Average events per named driver

These metrics provide a quick snapshot of fleet-wide safety activity.

Fleet Rollup by Event Group

The Fleet Rollup by Event Group chart displays the total number of recorded events by safety event category, making it easy to compare which types of events occur most frequently across your fleet.

Common event groups include:

  • Speeding

  • Near Miss

  • Distraction

  • Harsh Driving

  • Policy

  • Serious & Urgent

  • Fatigue

Export the report

Click Export (.csv) to download the current report data as a CSV file. The exported file reflects the filters currently applied to the report.

Notes

  • All report data is based on the selected filters.

  • Changing the date range or any filter updates the report automatically.

  • Exported data reflects the current report view.
