T3 drivers can be created to link to an asset for better visibility and driver management throughout the system. Drivers can be created individually or in bulk by a Manager or Owner-level role. For T3 Dash Cam customers, newly created drivers in T3 will automatically appear on the T3 Camera page for seamless management.

⚠️ These instructions do not apply to creating E-Logs drivers. For step-by-step instructions on creating E-Logs-specific drivers, see the Managing Drivers for the E-Logs mobile app. Additionally, when you create a driver, it does not create a T3 user profile.

Creating an Individual Driver

  • Open the T3 Fleet web app.

  • Select Company from the left menu.

  • Select the Drivers tab at the top.

  • Select the Create driver > Single driver button.

  • Select if the driver should be associated with an existing T3 user from the Create Driver form.

    • If selected, the user's First Name and Last Name and any other details associated with the user's profile will populate.

    • Select Create driver.

  • Otherwise, enter the first and last name to create a new driver not associated with a T3 user.

  • Select Create driver to save the details.

  • The driver has been saved!

Creating Drivers in Bulk

  • Open the T3 Fleet web app.

  • Select Company from the left menu.

  • Select the Drivers tab at the top.

  • Select the Create Driver > Upload with CSV button.

  • From the Bulk Create Drivers upload window, select Download sample CSV.

  • Add your driver's information to the CSV sample.

  • Save the completed CSV file and return to the Bulk Create Drivers page.

  • Drag and drop the CSV file into the CSV file upload box.

  • A previewer will display the following, as applicable:

    • Drivers Detected

    • Drivers ready to create

    • Potential Duplicates

    • Total Issues

  • Toggle the Only show rows with errors or duplicates to ON or toggle Expand Rows to ON to see more information and address any issues.

  • For any issues, expand the row to correct the information and Save changes or Remove driver.

  • Once done, select Create drivers.

  • If the CSV is an invalid file, an error message will display.
