After reviewing a dash cam event, several actions can be taken directly from the event details view or from the Events list in T3.
Sharing Events
Events can be shared directly from the event in grid of list view. For more information on opening and reviewing events, see Reviewing Dash Cam Event Details in T3.
Share an Event
Expand the event.
Select the individual clip and then select Share at the bottom of the page.
This is also available if you click into the event and view the details.
Once selected, the link is copied to your clipboard to paste and share with an individual.
Notes:
Only one event can be selected at a time to enable sharing.
Sharing is disabled when multiple events are selected.
Downloading Event Footage
Event footage can be downloaded directly from the Events experience.
Download an Event Individually or in Bulk
Single Download
Expand the event.
Select Download at the bottom of the page. This is also available if you click into the event and view the details.
A zip file is generated containing one or more video files associated with the event.
Multi-Event Download
Select multiple events.
Select the Download button.
Notes:
Up to five events can be downloaded simultaneously.
Downloaded files are provided as a zip file.
Downloading historical footage outside the context of an event is not supported in this experience and must be completed from the legacy Events tab.
Marking Events as False Positives
You can mark events as false positives during review if the system incorrectly identified the driving behavior. Marked events are hidden from the main review list so you can focus on items that need attention. False positive events can still be viewed using filters.
Note: If the same vehicle repeatedly generates false positive events, contact Support. This may indicate a camera mounting or installation issue.
Mark an Event as a False Positive
Open the event and select it.
Note: Up to 20 events can be added and marked as positive at once.
Select Mark as false positive.
Review the confirmation message and confirm the action. If multiple false positives are selected, the system will display all of them with the ability to remove before confirming the action.
Once confirmed, a successful confirmation message will display.
Once the items are marked as false positive, they will be hidden from the main Events view but can be accessible from the More Filters.
The event will be labeled as a False Positive Event.
Deleting Events
Deleting an event is intended for cases where the event should be fully removed from records.
Delete an Event
Select one or more events.
Select Delete.
Review the confirmation details and select Delete to confirm. If multiple events are selected, the system will display all of them with the ability to remove before confirming the action.
What Happens When an Event Is Deleted
The event is permanently removed from records.
Associated event data is deleted.
This action cannot be undone.
