Getting Started

This guide provides an overview of Time Cards for a supervisor or administrator using the Time Cards browser app.

Adding Employees

  • From T3, select the app drawer from the navigation bar across the top and click Fleet.

  • Select Company from the left menu.

  • Select the Users tab across the top.

  • From the Users table, select the Add User button.

  • Complete the Profile form including the employee's schedule, overtime rule, and assigned branch.

  • Select Create.

Editing/Deleting Employees

  • From T3, select app drawer from the navigation bar across the top and click Fleet.

  • Select Company from the left menu.

  • Select the Users tab across the top.

  • From the Users table, find the employee’s row, and select the Actions button (on the far right).

  • Select Edit or Delete.

  • Make your changes to the Profile form and click Save.

Adding ("Clocking In") or Revising an Employee's Time Entry

  • From T3, select the app drawer from the navigation bar across the top and click Time Cards.

  • Find your employee using Employee Group or Branches. Then select the Reporting Period.

  • Select the employee’s name link from the list.

  • From the employee’s time card, you can view the visual insights across the top to understand overtime, approvals, and hours clocked.

  • Select the date link to review the daily time entries.

  • From the day’s time card, select the Edit icon on the far right to make revisions to the Event Type, Entry Alerts, Branch, Work Order, Job, Work Code, Start Time, and End Time.

  • Select Add new entry to create a new time entry.
    Note: Adding a new entry is how you'll "Clock In" your employees for their time worked.

  • Once the updates are complete, select the Save icon.

Approving Employee's Time Cards

  • From T3, select the app drawer from the navigation bar across the top and click Time Cards.

  • Find your employee using Employee Group or Branches. Then select the Reporting Period.

  • Select the employee’s name link from the list.

  • From the employee’s time card, the dates that need approval will be noted in the Approval Status column by stating Unapproved.

  • Click the date link for each unapproved row to review the time card.

  • Click Approve on the top right corner.

    OR

  • Approve multiple dates from the employee’s timecard table by selecting the checkbox next to unapproved dates.

  • Select Approve in the top right. The entries’ status will change to Approved.

Exporting Time Entries for HR Payroll Purposes

  • From T3, select the app drawer from the navigation bar across the top and click Time Cards.

  • Find your employee using Employee Group or Branches. Then select the Reporting Period.

  • Select a payroll provider from the dropdown list of options (next to the Approve button). For a full list of the Payroll files, see the Exporting Time Cards for HR Payroll article.

  • Enter your email address and select Send Export.

  • The file will be exported to your inbox. Important: Leave the file formatting as is, it has been specially designed to accommodate the payroll provider you selected.
