Getting Started

This guide provides an overview of Time Cards for an employee using the Link app. The app can be downloaded to your smartphone device.

  • Search ES-Link from the app store on your device and click Download.

  • Log into the Link app with the same username and password used to access T3.

Clocking In

  • From the main menu in Link, click Time Cards.

  • Click Clock In from your Time Card.

  • Select a Work Order, Job, Branch, or Work Code for applying your time.

  • Click Save. You are clocked in and time is being logged to the selected Work Order, Job, and/or Work Code.

Clocking Out

  1. From the main menu in Link, click Time Cards.

  2. Click Clock Out from your Time Card. You are clocked out and no longer logging time to the Work Order, Job, Branch, and/or Work Code.

Taking a Break

  1. From the main menu in Link, click Time Cards.

  2. Click Take a Break from your Time Card. The time tracking towards the Work Order and/or Job will pause and now be applied towards a break.

  3. Once your break is finished, click Time Cards from the menu.

  4. Click Off Break from your Time Card. The time tracking towards your break will end and now be applied towards the Work Order, Branch, and/or Job.

Logging Time to a Work Order

  1. From the main menu in Link, click Work Orders.

  2. Select a Work Order for servicing.

  3. Select the Time tab.

  4. Select Clock In from your Time Card.

  5. Select the Job or Work Code (if applicable).

  6. Click Save. You are now logging time to the selected Work Order.

Change Work

The Change Work feature allows you to easily switch tracking time from one Work Order to another while staying clocked in.

  1. From the main menu in Link, select Work Orders.

  2. Choose a new Work Order for servicing.

  3. Select the Time tab.

  4. Select Change Work from your Time Card.

  5. Select the Job and/or Work Code associated with the Work Order (if applicable).

  6. Click Save. You are now logging time to the new Work Order.

Manually Adding Time to a Work Order

  1. From the main menu in Link, select Work Orders.

  2. Select a Work Order for servicing.

  3. Click the Time tab.

  4. Select Add Time from your Time Card.

  5. Manually enter the day and times, along with a description.

  6. Click Save.

Viewing & Revising Time Entries

  1. From the main menu in Link, select Time Cards.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of your Time Card to see a list of historical days.

  3. Click a day to view its logs.

  4. To make edits, click Add Time/Work.

  5. Choose Clocked In, On Break, or Clocked Out across the top. Make changes to the Start Time/End times. Also, the Work Order, Job, and Work Code can be edited.

  6. Click Save. The updated entries can be viewed in the day view of your time card.

Note: If you’re having issues adjusting time, contact your supervisor who can update your time through the Time Cards browser app in T3.
