Use the Dash Cam Health page in T3 Driver Safety to identify T3 Dash Cam connectivity issues and determine the appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Check Dash Cam Health
Before physically troubleshooting a dash cam, open T3 Driver Safety and navigate to Dash Cam Health.
The dashboard displays the current health status of each dash cam and provides recommended next steps. Select a status card to filter the table to devices with that status.
Dash Cam Health Statuses
Ok: The dash cam and tracker are communicating in sync. No action is needed.
Delayed Behind Tracker: The dash cam's most recent Engine On event is more than 24 hours behind the tracker's. If the vehicle has been turned on within the last 3 days, attempt a remote wake up to restore communication.
Stale: The dash cam and tracker have not reported in 30 or more days. The vehicle may be parked and unused, or both devices may be offline. Physically inspect the vehicle and devices using the troubleshooting steps below. Contact T3 Support if assistance is needed.
No Check In: The dash cam has never checked in, which typically indicates the installation was not completed successfully. Physically inspect the device using the troubleshooting steps below. Contact T3 Support if assistance is needed.
Orphaned: The dash cam is reporting activity but is not assigned to an asset. Assign the dash cam to the appropriate asset to restore accurate tracking.
Unassigned: The asset does not have a dash cam assigned. Assign a dash cam to the asset to begin monitoring its health.
If the Dash Cam Health page recommends physically inspecting the device, follow the steps below.
