Calibrating a T3 Dash Cam Using the Titan FTS App

Instructions on using the Titan App during the installation of a T3 Dash Cam for on-site camera calibration.

This article walks through calibrating a T3 Dash Cam installation with the Titan FTS App to minimize false alerts and ensure accurate driver behavior tracking.

Download the Titan FTS App

On-Site Camera Calibration

  • Log in to the Titan FTS App with the provided login credentials.

    • Username: install

    • Password: camera22

  • Locate the Camera.

    • Tap Search Nearest Camera.

    • If the camera is not found, tap Insert SSID and manually enter the SSID located on the side of the camera (e.g., ST-xxxxxxxxxx).

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

    • ⚠️ Do not wire into the vehicle's blinkers.

Calibrating AI Road Camera

  • Set Camera Height

    • Measure from the ground (where the tire meets the road) to the camera lens.

    • The default height is 153 cm.

  • Mounting Position

    • Select Centered or Not Centered based on installation.

    • For vehicles/equipment with split windshields, choose Not Centered.

  • Additional Measurements (if not centered)

    • Enter:

      • Camera Distance from Left Edge (distance from the lens to the asset's leftmost front edge).

      • Front Width of the Vehicle (overall width at the front).

  • Save Settings

    • Tap Apply Changes.

Calibrating AI Driver Camera

  • Select Camera 2

    • This refers to the AI Driver Camera.

  • Set Steering Position

    • Choose Left-Hand Drive or Right-Hand Driver

  • Adjust Driver Camera Lens

    • Open the bottom panel of the camera.

    • Use the adjustments tab to position the driver's face just above the centerline in the live stream view.

  • Confirm Settings

    • Tap Confirm to save.
